Subsequent approvals of the most expensive drug Zolgensma by more countries don't change situation for afflicted babies with Type 1 SMA unless the drug becomes accessible! As of now, the price of Zolgensma – $2.1 million per treatment – limits accessibility to these afflicted babies that urgently need this treatment. Drug companies like Novartis should find a way to lower the price of the drug, and at the same time, they should work with families, with insurance companies, and with governments to save lives!!
