La Place des Bienfaiteurs a beau avoir être classée comme monument en 2007, depuis 2008 elle n'a plus vu l'eau de sa fontaine couler. Cette fontaine est la pièce maîtresse de cette superbe place dessinée par Edmond Galoppin en 1907, et de la voir sèche depuis 15 ans fait mal au coeur. La ville a besoin d'eau pour vivre, nous demandons aux autorités communale et régionale de tout faire pour la remettre en marche. 

Hoewel het Weldoenersplein in 2007 werd beschermd als monument, staat haar fontein droog sinds 2008. Deze fontein is het centrale stuk van dit prachtige plein dat werd ontworpen door Edmond Galoppin in 1907. De stad heeft water nodig, en we vragen hierbij dan ook aan de gemeente en het Gewest om alles in het werk te stellen om de fontein terug te laten werken

The Place des Bienfaiteurs has been listed as a monument since 2007, but its fountain has been dry since 2008. This fountain is the central landmark of this beautiful square designed by Edmond Galoppin in 1907. The city needs water, and we ask the commune and the Region to do everything necessary to make our fountain work again
