Hi All! Well, as you all know, we had to change Schools. I knew there was a reason stopping me from closing this, I just knew it wasn't the end. This is a recent update, also some more info that has happened since my (long ago) last update. You may find a few topics repeated and probably notice I was a bit of a scatter brain. Please bare with me, as I just can't believe after all the time that's passed, my son is still dealing with these cruel people. For some good news... Dillon Graduated 2017... YAY!! The bummer though, he couldn't walk with all his long time friends, and was threatened to be arrested if he went to the 2017 Northview Graduation. He lost all his passion for school spirit when he was forced out of Northview HS, his love for Photography is gone. That'll probably make especially Principal Julie Harrison and Coach David Ochoa happy. Although he did a few photo shoots for Prom, and let me be his sidekick. :) That was fun! He is still the same ol Dillon. He now puts all his time into work. One more year, and he should fulfill his goal into Law Enforcement. (Wonder if I can change the petition name)? Ok, well... here it goes...... I've only slept a few hrs the last 4 days, as this has been weighing heavy on my mind. I know... let it go, get over it, forget about it... sorry, not that easy. My mind, stress & emotions are all over the place! From Oct 7, 2016 - May 31, 2018, my son and "I" have been bullied, threatened, lied to, etc., from Northview High School Principal Julie Harrison, Coach David Ochoa and Covina Valley Unified School District's Dr. Houpt. I believe it all boils down to personal vendetta's and a few power trips. Harrison must think she has never made mistakes in her life, and she is the only perfect one on this earth. I got news for her! Harrison NEEDS to let it go and get over it. How long ago did this happen?! I think Harrison needs a psychological evaluation. My son suffered through everything, not her! Leave my son alone!! Recently on May 31, 2018 Harrison gave a Covina Police Officer a picture of my son, with his height, weight, etc., he came to my house, I didn't answer, nor did I know who was at my door, as I was about to get in the shower. The Officer called my son on his cell, and met him at his work. Meanwhile, my son called me, and I got to his work ASAP. We happened to know this Officer, he told my son what was going on, and that Harrison did NOT want him at 2018 Graduation (tonight, Monday, to watch his friends Graduate), and that she thinks he will cause trouble... REALLY? He has more class then to do anything like that.... and if he's there, he will be arrested. The Officer said himself, that he knows my son isn't that kind of person and would not do any of the sort. It's known that my son wants a career in Law Enforcement, and to me, this shows Harrison is still out to get my son any chance she can, to possibly ruin the future he wants so badly. We're super grateful to have been told before we went to Graduation. Also, on Dec 1, 2016, someone broke into Coach Ochoa's school office/class room... took a laptop, 19 or 20 Wrestling Championship rings, a scale, and many other items. This was all over the News, the newspaper and internet. THIS IS SOMETHING THEY TRIED TO PIN ON MY SON! Calling students & his friends up to the school office questioning them, then telling all students not to talk to my son, or hang out with him. She has also said she has sent letters certified, she's never sent. I also asked for all the records on my son from all the bullying he endured during Elementary & Middle School. Wouldn't you know....I was told... NO records exist! hhmmmm? Ochoa refused to give my son his Football Certificates from the 2 yrs he played, because my son was unable to make it to the 2 Banquets. During the meeting at the District, I brought this up and Harrison said she would get those Certificates for him, along with his Letter, for a Lettermans jacket. I don't really get the full picture why Ochoa has had it out for my son since his Freshman year, but I do know he was upset because my son didn't want to do Wrestling... he did it anyways, Freshman year only. And quit football after his second year. While I'm on the petty train, I might as well tell you about Hawkeyes Harrison looking out for my son at the Football games when they made it to the CIF's the year all this stuff started. It began to be rather comical! She had everybody from students, parents, security, coaches, police... you name it, looking out and watching my son and I. But, that last game they played and lost, she had no idea I was there alone watching the game, then she spotted me walking to my truck. Talk about freak out! She nearly caused 3 accidents in the parking lot while stopping, reversing, blocking the exit.... all to see if my son was there!! LOL! Harrison had my son on a pedastool, until the day my son opted out to take the SBAC test (for 11TH grade Students Only)... any student can opt out. In fact, she refused to put the forms out for the students. She also instructed other students that were gonna opt out... that she was NOT going to talk to them, and they better get to class for the test. (She lost control of power to a 16 yr old). Boy was she pissed! So Summer vaca goes by, then my son's senior yr begins. In fact, he was only there 1 month, before she went ballistic on my son, along with Ochoa's help, in fact he was the one who started all this. In which she lied and said he had nothing to do with this. I called her out for lying during the District meeting. Took some time, but she admitted she lied! I was told by Harrison & Dr. Houpt that I had to pay Restitution for all the weeks they and Covina Police Dept. spent Investigating that my son hacked into the school system. <--- THIS was all a lie! My son never did any such thing, and there was NEVER an Investigation! I am still beside myself! Can you imagine!? I asked a few officers I know to look into this, and no such thing ever happened. Oct 7, 2016, being a minor at the time, my son played a joke on 2 friends on social media,admitted it, and it was deleted right away. (BTW, My son is still friends with the 2 boys). He got 5 days suspension, restricted from going to that night's Football game, got a ticket from the school resource officer (SRO), put on probation, kicked out of Northview, transferred him to Covina High, where he was treated like crap, I then moved him to a different District. Was also told he can not be on any school campus in Covina... because he can't be around the children...per Dr. Houpt. What the hell does that mean?! What does that sound like to you? Please tell me that comment was completely absurd! At the meeting, Dr Houpt shut me down with "that's not what we're here for"! When I asked why a former teacher at South Hills High got a slap on the wrist when he posted to his social media about the 2 women (colleagues) teachers that had sex, did drugs at a camp out on the beach with students... https://www.sgvtribune.com/2015/11/11/south-hills-teacher-keeps-job-after-facebook-post-about-student-teacher-sex/ he said... should have kept their "stupid mouths shut and enjoyed it". This teacher still has his job at Covina Unified School District, BUT now teaches at Northview!! Figure this one out?! AND, Harrison was Vice Principal at South Hills at the time this happened. Something's wrong with this picture!! Sickos! But, she continued to tell me that her best friend was gay. THAT had nothing to do with why we were there at the meeting! As for being on Probation, for 7 months we didn't hear from or receive anything in the mail. In April 2017 we were contacted by Covina P.D. because my son's case was sent to a Van Nuys Office, instead of Pomona. We were given a date in June to go to Probation, where an Investigator gave my son 9 months of Probation. In August 2017, (1 1/2 months later) his actual Probation Officer called us in, signed my son off Probation and called what he did "A Locker Room Joke", and none of the stuff should have happened to him, except maybe at most... a few days suspension, then gave us papers to go to the court and get his record Expunged (sooo much drama)! Those who know my son, know he is kind hearted, giving, helpful... an all around good person. (Yes he has faults just as anyone does). He doesn't smoke, drink, do drugs, not in gangs, dresses proper, has manners, etc. Not to mention, works 6 days a week, he doesn't have much time to do anything extra. Kids make mistakes, this is how they learn in life. My son learned his lesson. Kids at Northview have done way worse things than my son, and they weren't kicked out.
