In what has been described as a “perfect storm” of flooding and the Covid 19 outbreak, a lot of Central NT indigenous communities are in crisis, facing food shortages, need for medical supplies and living without communication due to the flood damage from last week.
These communities are pleading for Government and Military assistance to deliver urgent supplies of food and RAT tests.Although this story has gained community and media attention, NT health, PM Scott Morrison or the Military has not responded or offered support to these communities, the traditional owners of land.
