This petition is for construction of a Bridge over the Oxford Falls Road West causeway. To result in no road closures to keep this road open for motorist and residents and for the safety upgrade to the intersection.

We are all aware of the accidents and damages to vehicles from the causeway and intersection has caused over the many years from the use of this road.

With the increases in the use of this road and as a resident I believe this is a grave concern with local schools, childcare centres and facility centres nearby and drivers of all ages and especially the young drivers that entail with these facilities that are in our streets.

My final point as a resident I am seeing an immense increase in drivers that are using the causeway (waterway) as a means for reckless driving, which is placing the public at risk.

This need to be acknowledge and addressed to ensure the safety of motorist and pedestrians and the public are in the best interest of Local Government and Roads and Maritime services.
