This attractive calendar makes the perfect Christmas present for friends and family, and is available for just £10! All money raised will help in the fight to save Weekley Hall Wood and wildflower meadow. It is available to pre-order here and will ship in mid-December.
All of the photographs featured in the calendar were taken in the wood by local people and highlight the beauty of the area, its wildlife, and what will be lost if development goes ahead.
Support for Save Weekley Hall Wood grows
Since the petition launch and the official formation of the Save Weekley Hall Wood community group, we have gained more support. Denise Mackay of renowned local mental health charity Johnny's Happy Place threw her weight behind us when she sent us this video. If your business, charity or community group wants to come on board, please email saveweekleyhallwood@gmail.com.
Local musician Tom Oi wrote us a song! Be warned - it's very catchy! You can listen on Spotify or watch the video on YouTube.
Can you help save the wood and wildflower meadow?
The Save Weekley Hall Wood community group volunteers involved are very committed and dedicated, and have learnt a lot over the last six months. We have a few gaps in our knowledge, however, and would love to have some additional expertise in certain areas: we are in search of an Environmental Lawyer, national and regional media links to increase the exposure of the campaign and add pressure to the developers, plus people with experience in town planning. If you think you can help in any of these areas, please email saveweekleyhallwood@gmail.com.
