This rezoning which will forever destroy the quality and appearance of Greynolds Park. Also this intrusive commercial rezoning which is totally incompatible with the existing character of the surrounding neighborhood.

Letter to
North Miami Beach City Government
The City of North Miami Beach changed zoning for property at the corner of West Dixie Hwy. and NE 173 Street (17400 W. Dixie Hwy), to allow construction of several high-rise commercial towers, ten to fifteen stories high. These towers will be constructed on the same block as peoples’ existing single-family residential homes. The tall towers will be built almost touching Greynolds Park and will overlook the Lagoon, Boat House, Oleta River and most portions of Greynolds Park.

I am AGAINST this rezoning which will forever destroy the quality and appearance of Greynolds Park.

I am AGAINST this intrusive commercial rezoning which is totally incompatible with the existing character of the surrounding neighborhood.

I urge the City of North Miami Beach to protect citizens’ quality of life by reversing this zoning decision and restrict buildings heights so that:
The buildings cannot be seen from Greynolds Park
The buildings are compatible with the 1 and 2 story buildings in the surrounding neighborhood
