Let Noah Britton play football!

Here is our son Noah. He was an Asheville High School football player! Being an Asheville Cougar was the most important thing in his life.
Noah has autism and is in the Exceptional Children’s program. This means accommodations must be made so that he can receive an educational experience that allows him to get the most out of school and is best prepared to continue past high school.
The North Carolina High School Athletics Association (@NCHSAA) is not allowing Noah to play football his senior year due to a technicality. They are not willing to make an exception for this Exceptional Child. They did this despite their mission which states, “Inspiring individuals, encouraging excellence through education-based athletics.
Noah could have been a poster-child for their mission. He embodied and spirit of excellence and was incredibly inspiring to all those around him.
