Cleverly coined as the “Houston 100” this has been the talk around kitchen tables along Nova Scotia’s Northeastern shore during this summer’s August period. With the announcement of signal golds new double open pit gold mine in Goldboro this government sets this 100 km stretch up for failure while promising to halt biodiversity loss with federal Environment and Climate Change Minister Guilbeault. There are now 5 large open pit gold mine projects entered into the NS mining system within a 100 km span and a tailings Dam heightening approval fast tracked with no assessment.
It is time for Nova Scotian's to be concerned about this governments actions!
