The Legacy of the St. Mary's River interactive digital map link

The St. Mary’s River Association in collaboration with Matthew Schumacher and St. Francis Xavier University have spent the past year creating an interactive, internet-based "storybook" map covering the St. Mary’s River watershed. Features include different types of protected lands in the watershed, environmentally important features in the St. Mary’s, socially significant locations, paddling sites, and fishing pools.  In essence this is a 'one-stop-shop' for viewers to understand the importance, and the complexity, of this unique river valley ecosystem!  This will be a work in progress and we will be adding to the website as needed.

Have a look here and maybe start to plan your next paddling adventure or fishing trip or perhaps both!

This Story Map was funded by the Change Lab Action Research Initiative Fund (CLARI)

ENJOY!
