John Perkins has filed a lawsuit against Atlantic Gold Corporation and the RCMP stemming from the fiasco that unfolded at the Sherbrooke Fire Hall on May 23, 2019!

John has taken on a huge quest here and it’s bigger than just one mine site.  This action will raise questions around our civil fundamental rights!  

For some of our SMRA members at that meeting it was the first interaction with Atlantic Gold and it was not well received to say the least.  John Perkins was a guest in our community and the way he was treated by both the RCMP and Atlantic Gold that day certainly paints a negative picture!  Folks in any community should feel safe when engaging in the public process which stands to have such a huge effect on the communities we live in. 

John we support you and stand in solidarity!
