Thank you all for supporting our fight.  I am very happy we have reached 5000 signatures. 

The location of this proposed gold mine and its whopping size on the St. Mary's River is by far the most inappropriate location possible for an open pit mine!  The mines proposed towering tailings dam and the pit's depth along with its reaching footprint overall will be the beginning of the end for St Mary's.  Operating for under 10 years leaving our community with no royalties, no disaster relief fund and the fall out for decades to follow makes this project simply preposterous.  I can't help but tear up every time I talk about it.
