Greetings Supporters:  This update is going to be deep and disconnected. Please bare with me.

1) We are waiting for the 2007 DNA samples to be located by Augusta, Georgia. So the testing for the internal Vaginal typing by the GBI or independent vendor can not begin until the samples are located.

2) Our family has questioned the DNA report since 2015 surrounding the MISSING internal vaginal DNA results. Since the woman was a mother, it would not be surprising to have male DNA inside of her Vaginal. But why didn't the GBI focus on testing for an internal Vaginal match in 2007 - I don't know. Why didn't Augusta, Georgia focus on clarification of the internal vaginal DNA results in 2015 when it was brought to their attention? I don't know.

3) Michael did sign up for 20 years for burglary while over medicated with three public defenders present that somehow turned into a guilty plea for three charges instead of one with a lIfe without parole sentence. Michael has been stuck in maximum security State prison for capital punishment instead of a medium security prison for burglary.

4) The prison system has changed significantly over the last 17 years. I doubt if Michael would have agreed to any "plea deal" if he would have known the deterioration of the prison structure to what it has become. Unfortunately, the plea was not a deal, and he got suckered.

5) Prisoners do not serve the time by themselves. Family is dragged into the mix to help supplement for the prisoner's basic needs. Food, shelter(cot versus the floor) and clothes and grooming supplies. Communication, etc. It is a burden. I can see why so many scams stem from the prison system because the prisoners are trying to survive.

6) My reasons for continuing to support justice for Michael Christopher Blocker is because there was an injustice done. Michael has not made the best decisions while incarcerated. The depressing prison environment DOES NOT contribute to anyone's wellness. It's not even Correctional at this point. It's just insanity. 

7)  The insanity affects Michael's decision making, and it spills over into his relationships with family. It feels like we are constantly in recovery mode. It is so draining for everyone. Michael can not become the best version of himself in such an insane environment of survival. We are trying to give him grace, but sometimes we are all overwhelmed. 

8) It is darkest before Dawn - we sincerely hope this nightmare is fixed sooner versus later. Let freedom ring. Let justice prevail. It's still in God's hands.
