Michael Christopher Blocker has toiled over a decade to prove his innocence despite being drugged and tricked into signing a guilty plea for burglary only in 2008. After arriving at the prison in 2008, he discovers the guilty plea was altered to include two additional charges of rape and kidnapping resulting in life without parole sentencing.

Michael has toiled over a decade to understand how his G.E.D, his pleasant demeanor, and his pursuit of the American dream has cost him the loss of both of his loving, law-abiding parents and near fatal prison attack in 2010.

Michael has toiled over a decade to live a life of gratitude, kindness, and Faith while filing petition after petition supporting that he is a non-violent offender who while under medication and duress was sentenced to life for crimes in which he did not commit.

In 2010, Judge Frank Horkan held an Habeas hearing surrounding the capital punishment case in  Lowndes County, Georgia without 182 pages of trial transcripts that were only released in 2021 by Judge Blanchard Jr. 

The case number 2010 CV 2368 then was reassigned by Judge Susan Cole in 2012 to an unrelated case. She retired 3 days later. 

There has been a collective effort to bury this high profile regional case that resulted in a long string of regional promotions including a federal nomination of J. Randal Hall.

In 2021, Michael's case was re-opened in Augusta, Georgia shortly after his 182 pages of trial transcripts were released and the judge was changed from James Blanchard Jr to Amanda Heath. We have proof that the case was re-opened without certificate of service nor a court date in 2021.

Michael's surviving family, extended family, and friends both near and far, continuously pray for his safety and sanity while he is confined to a Maximum Security Prison setting although he has been a low security risk for over a decade.

Michael's faith (being Jehovah Witness) and his proper home etiquette instilled in him from birth has always prevented him from reckless acts of violence.  Michael Christopher Blocker has had his constitutional right  to due process and trial by jury denied over and over. A nolo contendere plea for a captial felony case was AGAINST the law in 2008. Daniel J. Craig and Ashley Wright were appointed promotions by Governor Sonny Perdue two days after they stole Mr. Blocker's trial by jury in 2008.

The family has asked Willie Saunders, Tanya Jeffords, and Alexia Davis to assist in overturning this capital punishment sentencing, but all have declined.

Thank God for our Atlanta based attorneys that have picked up the case, interviewed the forensic biologist, and notified Augusta, Georgia district attorney that we are requesting the internal vaginal DNA sample to be tested. It was only screened in 2007 and very little male DNA was found. We need to show the exclusion of Michael Christopher Blocker to get him released. The final testing was never completed by Georgia Bureau of Investigations in 2007. Our attorneys are waiting for this final step to be completed.
