Our campaign was grateful to hear from attorney Tanya Jeffords this past week. Michael vividly remembers Ms. Jeffords being present for the signing of the nolo contendere that he under the influence of schizophrenia meds thought was a plea deal for burglary just to end the trauma that the entire family was being subjected to.

Respectfully, Attorney Jeffords remembered the case, but she did not remember that life with recividism (LWOP) was the final sentencing. She was likely not present for the sentencing hearing. She did agree to reach out to retired 2008 public defender Hugh Hadden. We are hoping to receive status this week on a plan of action.

It was also mentioned that other cases were coming to light that trial transcripts had been denied for over a decade. Trial transcripts are an important part of the process of appeal. For the #exonerateMichaelChristopherBlocker case it is the only testimony left from Terry S. Leverett who passed in 2013.

This case is of national importance. If case numbers are disappearing and being overwritten then it is manipulation of the justice system and disruption of the constitutional rights of an already wrongfully incarcerated man who has suffered prolonged detainment, physical, mental, and emotional damage.

While Michael is in good physical shape to return to the work force and earn a living, we pray that exoneration is coming sooner rather than later.

Our campaign is thankful for the time that Ms. Jeffords took out last week to speak with me, and we look forward to even better news this week.

Thank you to all of our Supporters. Thanking God Jehovah for continued mercies. Have a great day.
