Greetings:

There is no movement on the last motion filed, but we believe that a clemency petition would be considered by the Georgia Board of Pardons and Parole. In the meantime, we are requesting a wellness transfer to the Augusta, GA area so that he can be near family. 

In the past, Michael's "Life without parole" sentencing prohibited him from transferring to a medium security detention center, but since at least one of Ahmaud Arbery's murderers is being held in the Glynn County, Georgia medium security detention center/jail, we anticipate that his request will be honored.

As a reminder, the McMichael's were sentenced to life without parole for the hate crime against #AhmaudArbery in Brunswick, GA.
