Dear supporters and friends,
The Barngarla People have always opposed a nuclear waste dump being built on their land at Kimba. We have seen the Barngarla take action on the streets, in communities, in Canberra to advocate their message and of course a huge battle in the courts.
The judgement regarding the Kimba case will be delivered on Tuesday July 18, 2023 at 10.30am at the Commonwealth Law Courts Building in Adelaide, 3 Angas Street, Adelaide.
Many Barngarla people will be there for this important moment. Let's show them the support and solidarity that is truly deserved.
We know that this is an issue that impacts all South Australians and has been the focus work of the No Dump Alliance - we invite you to join us at the Federal Courts as the findings are handed down.
South Australia has a long and strong history of fighting against nuclear waste dumps, from the Kupa Piti Kungka Tjuta and Flinders Ranges Traditional Owners.
This battle with the waste dump has been a tough one, again.
However, the size of the battle has not stopped Barngarla from fighting hard and strong for all of us.
The Barngarla community has never stopped fighting against the waste dump and we continue to stand with them now.
This is not a protest, rally or action - but an invitation for you to join us for this important news.
Hope to see you at the Federal Courts on Tuesday.
No Dump Alliance
