As part of this signature campaign please Confirm that you have not received adequate water from Pune municipal Corporation but still am charged with Water tax.  PMC is guilty of gross deficiency in service and unfair trade practices.. The following grounds and relief mentioned accurately state your concerns and you share the same interests: 

GROUNDS
The complaint is filed under Section 47(1) of Consumer Protection Act, 2019 on the following grounds amongst others which the complainants may take up at the time of hearing:- 

1.   Gross Deficiency in service by PMC due to its inability to supply promised quantity of water warrants action for redressal.
2.   Forced collection of Water Tax despite inadequate supply 
3.   New demand for Water tax in spite of knowing PMC cannot render the promised service constitutes an unfair trade practice. 
4.    Resulting financial burden of additional payment that is done to private water supplier in addition to the existing water tax 
5.    Resulting adverse health risks due to hard water on health of complainants and their families
6.    Mental and Emotional distress due to the inability to protect my family’s health and basic needs, the frustration of being charged unfairly and sense of helplessness. 
 
 
 RELIEFS SOUGHT
DIRECT PMC TO FORTHWITH

A.              Refund Water Tax collected from the complainants with interest within 12 months. Interest calculated at the rate of 2% per month from the date of payment of tax.  

B.              Direct respondents to provide adequate water supply to complainants as a sine qua non for charging water tax. , where “adequate”  is defined as reasonably consistent supply of water throughout the year in a manner that results in consumers getting an average of 135 Liters (+/- 15% variance) per day per person or any such other volume as declared per UDPFI guidelines ,which is actually supplied. 

C.             Direct that No water tax shall be levied unless PMC can demonstrate consistent and adequate water supply of 135 Liters (+/- 15% variance) per day per person or any such other volume as per UDPFI guidelines and the same is actually supplied. If Respondent insists on such water taxes, PMC should refund the amount in full that the complainants spend for getting water from private suppliers./source

D.         Direct respondents to investigate service deficiency complaints within 30 days of receipt of complaints. If deficiency is confirmed corresponding water tax should be waived or adjusted in the same taxation year.
