Gamble v US is a case headed to the Supreme Court. It's a case that could alter the constitution as we know it.
Double-Jeopardy is a clause in the 5th amendment that says that someone cannot be prosecuted for the same crime once it has been adjudicated already. However, there is an exception: Federal & State agencies can charge someone with the same crime.
Orrin Hatch, member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, has recently weighed on and written & filed his own amicus brief in favor of overturning the dual-sovereignty doctrine.
Why is this significant, and why now? Because if President Trump were to fire Mueller, ending the Russia probe, then pardon "any and all existing or future crimes" he or anyone else has committed, State prosecutors would no longer be able to pick up where Mueller and his team left off - essentially Trump could give anyone found guilty or pending trial blanket immunity from all prosecution. The oligarchy in the West would be all but secured.
What does this have to do with Kavanaugh? Everything. We have seen just how partisan Kavanaugh is with his raving screed in the last hearing regarding Clinton Liberal conspiracies to defame him. It's obvious that given the gravity of Gamble v US and the implications for Trump, Kavanaugh, if confirmed, would be the deciding vote to grease the rails of injustice.
Now, more than ever, the Presidential Pardon must be addressed because of the wanton abuse of power that it poses for American justice. #NoPardon
