Casey council's town planning team have approved for construction of a McDonalds being built next to the Botanic Village car park.

I am fighting against this build and hope you will join me.

We are a freshly built estate with so much potential to mould this area in to a suburb that supports local small businesses and has shops and ammenities that are needed for the demographic that live in Botanic ridge (young families and retirees just up the road)

The road (single lane split road) they are planning on opening this fast food establishment is the entry way to the local primary school, Coles, pharmacy and also an upcoming swim school, childcare and gym which means it is already going to be bustling with traffic. The infrastructure simple isn't there to support a fast food restaurant.

We also have our beautiful local business owners running our Cafe, Pizza and Fish and Chip shop who will be greatly affected if this is allowed to open, not to mention the rubbish and air pollution that will affect locals in our residential estate.

We have 2 McDonalds already within 15 minutes of this location.

We are not trying to take away the much needed jobs that a new business could offer our community but we do NOT need to support another large corporation, this is a great opportunity to allow for more small businesses to thrive and for more local jobs offered by locals people.

We are not a busy main road, we are a residential estate and would like your help to STOP this cash grab eyesore from being the entrance to our beautiful estate.
