A letter from Back Creek Marina LLC. representing everyone who opposes this 6 Knot change has been sent to DNR Boating Regulations Department. We have included all signatures on this petition and all comments.  We would like to thank everyone who took the time to sign the petition and comment on their experiences and opposition of the new “6 knot at all times” proposal. We would also like to Thank Julia Law for all her time and effort in this fight. Julia’s late nights and continued effort will make this a success for all of us. We would also like to thank Less Simmons for bringing this regulatory change to our attention well before DNR posted the creek. The fight is not over, but I believe we have a winning team and the people in the area do not want this “6 knot at all times” change.
