a. Zoning Board of Appeals – Acceptance of ZBA Recommendation Regarding Text Amendment Request – Commercial District Zoning Regulations
And in the packet, on page 123:
"Motion: If the Village Board wishes to agree with the Zoning Board’s recommendation, the following motion would be appropriate.
Motion to Accept the Recommendation of the Zoning Board of Appeals Regarding the Proposed Text Amendments to C1, C2, C3 and ORIC Districts.
If the Village Board wishes to consider adoption of the proposed text amendment, or a revised version of the text amendment, direction will need to be provided to prepare an Ordinance for adoption at a future Village Board meeting."

While the Village Manager's memo contains the proposed motion above styled for the Board to accept the ZBA findings of Fact, the highlighted portion means that the Board can either adopt the ZBA findings, reject the ZBA findings, and enact the proposed amendments that the ZBA rejected on April 11 and codified on May 9, or reject the ZBA findings and continue to revise the proposed amendments at a later date.
In other words, the proposed motion does not mean that re-zoning is over. Your attendance and participation are crucial at this board meeting.
As of today, the Board meeting is scheduled for Monday, June 17, at
7 p.m. at Village Hall.
