According to a source, the next hearing on the writ petition filed in Tamil Nadu on NEET is scheduled on 5th June at the Madras High Court and on 12th June at the Madurai Bench of the Madras High Court. The CBSE will present their proposition on the case. The possibility is that the board might try to prove that the difficulty level of all the papers in different regional languages is the same or they might propose to adopt the method of normalisation for the results of NEET 2017. Another development is on the petition filed by Sankalp Trust and Dr. Anand Rai in the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court rejected an urgent hearing to the matter and has now given the hearing date as 3rd of July. This is a good sign for us. The possibility of a Re-Neet is narrowed by the following reasons~ ◆ A source revealed that a CBSE official has stated that the board will require a period of 3 months if they are to reconduct the exam. This is completely out of question as it will delay the admission process tremendously. ◆The picture uploaded is of the Indian Medical Council Amendment Act of 2016 which gave rise to NEET as a common medical test. As you can see, it applies to both UG and PG courses. NEET PG is held for nine consecutive days which obviously means different question papers. Then who has made it mandatory for NEET UG to be held with a single question paper? Nobody. The bill further gave rights to the MCI to decide the manner in which they want to conduct the exam. This proves that the allegations raised on non-uniforming of exam breaching the SC verdict are entirely false. ◆ It is practically impossible to reconduct the exam for over 11 lack candidates. ◆ >99% of candidates have attempted the paper in English or Hindi languages. Then why so much noise for a retest? We all know that this is a cry made by opportunists to try their luck once more. My point in telling all these facts is that I want you all candidates to have some faith and not put a mental burden on yourselves. Your hardwork will not go in vain. Even if the judgement of the MHC does not come in our favour, we will challenge the Judgement in SC. For that I will require your support. Make this petition reach 1k. Share as much as you can.
