Candidates in elections with challengers often have more open ears.  These incumbents have challengers:  Director Brian Boniface and Director Bruce Rieser.  Keep this in mind as you send your e-mails to the entire Board of Directors at The Woodlands Township.

Position 2:  Brian Boniface DOES have an opponent in the 11/06/18 election.  Let your opposition to the underpass be known!  Director Boniface says he'll listen.

Boniface Candidate Statement:  "I have advocated against unwanted roads and thoroughfare plans and worked to get the most detailed information about incorporation for our residents. I kept my word and am now seeking a second term in order to continue those promises." 

Position 4:  Bruce Rieser DOES have an opponent in the 11/06/18 election.  Director Rieser notes concern regarding traffic and storm drainage issues -- in the SAME sentence!  Tell him about your concerns!  

Reiser Candidate Statement:  Other areas of concern that he said need immediate attention are traffic congestion and mobility, as well as storm drainage issues and flood mitigation.

You can send a single e-mail to all Directors, at the same time.  Simply copy and paste their e-mail addresses (provided above) into the "To:" line of your e-mail.  Separate the names by a comma.  After typing about your opposition to the project, click "Send." This should take less than five (5) minutes.  Please take the time to let your voice be heard!

It is crucial The Township hear from you before their 10/18/18 meeting.  You may use the paragraph below as an example.  It is better if you use your own words.  If you send a single e-mail to all directors at once, use the greeting, "Dear Directors:".

Dear Directors:

I am opposed to an underpass (or an overpass) at Research Forest and Grogan's Mill.  The $24 million dollars for this single project and the risk of flooding are just some of the reasons to oppose this project.  Traffic congestion is much heavier at other locations in our area and should be addressed at those locations before turning to this intersection.
