BOUNDARY FENCE URGENCY:
The Irvine Company erected a boundary fence, placed security cameras and guards and told the US Fish & Wildlife Service that they intend to start construction in the fall after breeding season of the endangered least Bell's vireo.
NOW IS THE TIME to ask Chairman Bren of The Irvine Company to consider donating or allowing us to purchase the 400-acre wildlife corridor between Irvine Regional Park and Peters Canyon Regional Park. His support will help preserve this critical habitat for future generations.
WE NEED YOU TO:
1) SEND A CLEAR MESSAGE TO CHAIRMAN BREN OF THE IRVINE COMPANY: Use our TAKE-ACTION CHECKLIST for letter writing templates and all the steps to draw attention to our campaign. Your voices need to be heard by The Irvine Company, our elected officials, public agencies and the media.
2) ATTEND PEACEFUL PROTEST & STRATEGY MEETING: Join our peaceful protest and strategy meeting on Tuesday, August 27 at 5:30PM in front of Orange City Hall, 300 E Chapman Ave, Orange, CA 92866. We'll discuss the next steps of our preservation effort and assign action items to volunteers. Opportunity to wear NOH shirts, bring signs or dress as one of the special status animals or plants!

3) DONATE: Support our legal and public relations costs by visiting our GoFundMe or PayPal Link.
WE NEED EVERYONE TO ACT QUICKLY!
