We’re excited to share some fantastic news with you! Thanks to your incredible support, our petition has now surpassed 1,000 signatures—a true milestone in our efforts to protect the community and Green Belt land around New Ash Green.
Adding to this momentum, we’ve just received an official letter from the New Ash Green Village Association (VA), expressing their support for our campaign. The VA conducted a survey among local residents, showing clear support for opposing the proposed solar farm. This is a significant step forward, and we’re thrilled to be working closely with the VA as we move forward to challenge Evolution Power’s proposal.
As we continue our campaign, it’s important to spread the word and correct misunderstandings about the project. Some residents believe the solar farm might bring benefits like cheaper electricity for locals, but in reality, the power generated would feed directly into the national grid, and the local community would bear the consequences without any direct benefit.
