This petition is to implore Norcal and USTA to consider the health and safety of all of its tennis players when scheduling sectionals and nationals in areas where the average temperature is near 100°.  For the last two decades they have been scheduling sectionals in the Sacramento area, and its players have fought heat exhaustion and heat related illnesses. There are many other areas in northern California that do not have these average high daily temperatures.  It may cost Norcal more money to schedule in these areas, but they need to consider the health and safety of their constituents!
