I’m a pretty regular mom. I’m not friends with anyone rich, famous, or politically powerful. The #SantaSusana Field Lab is a really big problem for our kids, and we need California’s governor candidates Gavin Newsom and John Cox to help. I think they will, because they’re both dads, so they know how important it is to protect kids from danger. But a big part of the problem...is that I don’t know Newsom. I don’t even know anyone who is a friend-of-a-friend of his and we need your help to contact him. (We may have a lead on Cox that we’re working on). So I’m sending this plea out to anyone who does. Personally. Maybe Newsom owes you a favor that you’re willing to call in for the sake of the fifty children who were diagnosed with cancer in my community. Maybe you went to high school together or go to the same gym. Something that will let you contact him on our behalf. The other cancer parents and I want to meet with Newsom, and Cox, and ask that they would include the Santa Susana’s cleanup as a major part of their gubernatorial campaign this fall.
