We are in the process of sending investigative TIPS to the most  powerful platforms in NYC Media, including Radio, TV and Print.  Reporters and Camera crews need to EXPOSE the horrific conditions at all 3 NYC Shelters, including Brooklyn and Staten Island.   Killing Spree is big NEWS, and will be shocking to many NYC residents, who have no knowledge of how their taxpayer money is used.

The NYC ACC Shelters currently answer to nobody, and make their own rules.  They kill when it is more convenient than caring for an animal, and becomes more profitable.  There has been no oversight to reign them in. Minimum effort is made to find homes for animals thru  ADOPTION or RESCUE. Even worse is the 'silent KILLINGS' of animals never listed or photographs posted on NYC ACC Shelter website.  It is easier to KILL them, to keep costs down.  

Legal reform is coming next, in the form of the SARA bill:  Shelter Animal Reform Act, New York State Senate Bill S7245. In the interim, we are counting on extensive Media exposure to stop the NYC Shelter policy of SPAY, NEUTER, KILL, which is their standard practice, for dogs already on DEATH ROW.  There is no need to put dogs thru further pain, suffering and fear, in the name of profitability, when they are already scheduled to DIE within 24 to 48 hours.
