There is horrific tragedy occurring daily at NYC ACC Shelters.  Each evening, several dogs (approximately 5 to 6) are placed on a DEATH ROW list, and are killed only 18 hours later if they are not adopted, rescued or fostered. Most of these condemned dogs have only been at the shelter for 3 days. They DIE without even going to one adoption event.  They may be someone's missing pet, who did not get lucky enough to be quickly reunited with their heartbroken owner.  At the NYC ACC Shelters, they choose to KILL healthy, adoptable dogs, to save money on their care.  And to profit, by selling each cadaver dog's dead body for $400.00, when they leave the building in black garbage bags, like trash.

Please help me effect CHANGE by signing petition. I am using this petition to gain media attention, publicizing URGENT need for permanent legal changes, to prevent these heartless MURDER policies. Already contacted many NYC Newspaper, TV and Radio stations, including: CNN, New York Post, The Gothamist, WQXR, and WNYC.
