We, the residents of Douglas County, believe our community's strength lies in the protections of the U.S. Constitution, which serve as universal safeguards against government overreach. These rights—including due process and protection from unlawful search and seizure—belong to everyone within our borders, regardless of citizenship status. By standing together, we ensure that the rule of law is respected and that the dignity of every neighbor is upheld against federal infringement Concerns about Adverse Impact of their presence: Constitutional/Civil Rights, Economic, Infrastructure & Fiscal, and Community Integrity.  
We, the undersigned, concerned citizens urge our elected officials to do everything in their power to STOP ICE Facilities from being in Douglas County.  No office, no detention facilities, NO permanent ICE.
