This petition is to remove the dress code in schools in Houston County. Parents and others have to go and spend more and more money just because there is such a strict dress code and you have to wear certain things. Children should go to school and learn new things ad learn from their mistakes and teachers should come to school to teach and help the children to be successful. But instead, the school's number one priority is to dress code anyone with anything on. No one else is paying that much attention to one’s outfit except the teachers and staff. No matter what you wear a creep will look and you can’t prevent that, no matter what you try to wear. Children should be able to wear what they choose and shouldn’t get in trouble for it. I understand the really inappropriate clothes but children should be able to wear their ripped jeans without leggings underneath, or their leggings without having to wear a shirt that has to go down to their knees. And I believe that there should not be a dress code at all. I really hope I have some people who agree with me because I cannot deal with this dress code for another lifetime. The people want a change. And the people should get a change in their own community. There should be no more dress code in any schools in Houston County. Thank you !
