We, the concerned citizens of Jefferson Davis County, oppose the proposed data center because of concerns about its potential impact on our water supply, environment, farmland, infrastructure, property, and overall quality of life. A project of this size could permanently change our rural community, and residents deserve transparency, independent environmental review, and a meaningful voice before it moves forward. We support economic growth and new jobs, but development should protect our natural resources and the people who call Jefferson Davis County home. We ask our leaders to listen to the community and fully address these concerns before allowing this project to proceed.
