Today marks the 8th day of the date my sister’s baby was snatched away in a brutally disturbing way. She has had no contact with her son, on Friday July 8th she attempted to get a phone call with her baby by asking her attorney to contact the other party’s attorney and try to arrange a phone call and the other party responded, by saying, “no phone calls for the time being”

The judge gave a verbal order on June 9th that electronic communication was to be provided by both parents and prior to that a Rule 11 was filed that also allows phone calls.
Sadly this action on behalf of the controlling angry parent is common it is a way that allows them to continue punishing the victim. It is a sign of what is called coercive control.

Something needs to be done and emphasize during any ruling in order to prevent this from occurring to other children and parents. One’s  attorney should be the one making sure this is a priority and it be done before leaving the court room. It is absolutely imperative!
