During Covid, airlines appeared to have revealed themselves as ponzi schemes.  Without new dollars coming in, they have shown themselves unable or unwilling to provide services purchased by consumers (or alternatively to provided refunds).

Now particularly Air Canada has the arrogance to use consumer money as a hostage to insist on a bailout, as they threaten they will not provide refunds UNLESS they get a bailout.

Even after March 2020 they continued to sell flights, only to cancel many but refuse refunds.

Air Canada has enough cash to refund cancelled flights but are  refusing to do so.

Please protect Canadians by not giving in to their tactics or restore their ability to take money from consumers without consequence.
