This petition is born out of a heartfelt frustration with the current direction of North Melbourne.

Fellow North Melbourne faithful,

How much longer do we accept this?

How much longer do we watch our proud club, once feared and respected across the competition, reduced to a laughing stock week after week?

This is not the North Melbourne Football Club we grew up loving. This is not the club that bled shinboner spirit. What we are seeing now is a slow, painful collapse – a culture of excuses, mediocrity, and failed leadership.

The time has come to say it loud and clear: Sonja Hood and Brady Rawlings must go. Now.

Under their leadership, we’ve plummeted to rock bottom and somehow kept digging. We were sold a vision of rebuild, resilience, and revival. What we’ve received instead is confusion, stagnation, and record-breaking losses.

Year after year, we are told to “trust the process.” But where is this process leading us? A wooden spoon? A shattered playing group? A disillusioned supporter base?

We are not just watching the destruction of a football team — we are watching the erosion of a club’s soul.

Sonja Hood has failed in her duty as President to provide strong, decisive leadership and hold those accountable for repeated failure. Her blind loyalty to a failed internal structure is costing this club its future.

Brady Rawlings, as the List Manager, has overseen one of the most disastrous football departments in modern AFL history. The list management. The coaching appointments. The direction — or complete lack of it. He has had more than enough time. The results speak for themselves.

We’re not just frustrated — we are heartbroken.

We are tired of being told to be patient. Tired of being told that success is around the corner while we bleed members, supporters, and players. Tired of waiting for a turnaround that never comes.

We call on the board to act now. We demand accountability, not apologies. We demand leadership, not lip service.

If North Melbourne is to rise again, we need a clean slate. We need strong, experienced football minds who understand what it takes to rebuild a winning culture. We need leaders who put members first — not their own egos or job security.

This is a pivotal moment in the club’s history. Either we act now, or we risk losing a generation of supporters — and the club itself.
