NL Education Please Provide an Online Option

Although the heads of Education in the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador believe that the schools are safe, many parents do not feel it to be so.

We feel that the schools are opening too soon after a major outbreak of the COVID19 Variant since case numbers are not at zero, and the Variant is much more contagious. 

Many parents would feel safer keeping their students at home to learn and that should be made available to them. Additionally many students who have immune deficiencies and special needs will require an alternate route as well.

More measures in schools such as mandating masks are not enough to ensure safety during an unprecedented outbreak of the variant since it spreads so rapidly.

Parents who do not feel safe sending their kids to school should not be left out of the equation.
