Help prevent further suffering of pups and families and congenital SAS and other illness

The Issue

My dog Alice was sold to a puppy store in NJ where I purchased her and her paperwork informs she came from Kings, Lititz, PA. That is all of the info provided to me for the breeder, no name, address or phone number. Alice came home with Coccidia, tapeworm, kennel cough, diahreah, and a heart murmur that ended up diagnosed by her cardiologist as subaortic stenosis/aorticinsufficiency-SEVERE, giving her a 30 percent chance of living to age 3 and is a congenital condition that is preventable through responsible breeding. I was unable to become relatively close to confirming Alice's origin until now, as I recently became involved with amazing animal activists groups throughout New Jersey who assisted me with this process. Alice's Coccidia parasites were from ingesting the feces of infected dogs, rodent feces, and could have been potentially life threatening to not only her but other dogs she was exposed to. Alice's tapeworm and kennel cough were also due to unsanitary living conditions. I have an UNFIT for sale letter for Alice from a vet in NJ. The only breeder listed as Kings Lititz, PA also had reports that were unsatisfactory this year and show that they are neglecting to properly care for these poor pups. I had reached out to The NJ Division of Consumer Affairs August 2014 and still have gotten no reply. The Ocean County Health Dept promised to help, saying that the pet store was required by law to maintain the breeders address and phone number and to supply them with it. I was also told they could obtain Alice's vaccination records prior to me bringing get home, as I have no official documentation if this and the pet store told the health dept they didn't have it. Alice has a severe heart disease, and her being under vaccinated over overly vaccinated can be detrimental to her well being and condition. I have no health certificate from PA where Alice came from. Her pet store paperwork said they acquired her 7/31/14 and I brought her home 8/8/14. Where are the official records of her vaccinations and medical care for May and June? She was born in April 2014. All I have is handwritten month and dates of supposedly administered vaccinations on her bill of sale from pet store not specifying a vet or a PA health certificate. The ocean county health dept said there's nothing they can do, and try consumer affairs, as the health dept " only deals with sanitation and doesn't handle paperwork or records enforcement." You would think the health dept would be concerned there are other pups with this disease brought to NJ that may not be getting the care they need, or could potentially still be bred. Pennsylvania claims they need the address of the breeder, and do not have the authority to request it due to jurisdiction issues. Bottom line: PA may still be breeding Alice's parents or litter mates and selling them to unsuspecting families with good intentions that may not be educated on the i humans practices of puppy mills. Sadly, like myself, some of us learn the hardest and the best thing we can do is share our story, educate as many people as possible, and seek justice. Alice deserves justice, as do her siblings, her parents (who likely have died from a similar heart condition or parasite or are not receiving the treatment they need now). All of these poor souls deserve justice and to live happy, healthy lives full of love. Prior to Alice, I also brought home another sick dog from the same pet store (with this same breeder listed in the paperwork) that came home with an abnormal white blood cell count (possible early indication of parvo) as well as kennel cough and a gastrointestinal infection. I have the paperwork for this dog as well but sadly the pet store would not allow me to purchase him due to his need for treatment. Please help me take a stand and ask the Division of Consumer Affairs to do what it right and simply demand the pet store to hand over the address and phone number for this breeder. If Alice's breeder is who signs are pointing to, he recently also had poor pups confiscated from his property and can be facing federal charges for the improper care of Alice and transporting her without a health certificate and vaccination records when he was not licensed by USDA. Let's take down these puppy mills one at a time. Do it for Alice, do it for your furry family members. I requested breeder info from the pet store mud September myself and was denied. With all the havoc going on, maybe this was overlooked and I would be open to speaking with them and working together with them to locate this breeders address and end more animal cruelty, as this will also prove that they do care and they do care for their animals. Maybe they didn't know how bad the conditions were where Alice came from? If they sign this, I know they're on board and they can feel free to mention that in a comment and I will reach out to them to further discuss. Below is a link to Alice's story featured in CBS September 23,2015. Please sign this and share with as many people as possible. In honor of puppy mill awareness day! One life saved is a second chance for a poor defenseless, unconditionally living and resilient pup. God Bless and lets do this!!
