As was revealed in some July 2020 interviews, it turns out someone higher than Tanabe may have been responsible for the stupid restrictions. These restrictions (...though he still might be responsible without admitting it.)

Since reformatting this petition and its signatures for something it wasn’t meant for goes against the ideas and ethics of petitions, I’ve started a new petition to get to the actual root of the problem.
