May 2013 be the perfect year to remake the third generation games? Pokemon Heartgold and Soulsilver were released, in the 10th anniversary since their original release. The third generation games could meet the same fortune, though include Emerald, that was release 2 years later. Since Emerald is what we could call the full 3rd generation game. Since only one the box art legendary appeared in Ruby and Saphire, unlike Gold/HeartGold and Silver/Soul Silver, where both box art legendaries appeared in both games. So looking at this we may see a remake of Ruby and Saphire and/or Emerald this year, if Game Freak and Nintendo, go with the 10 year anniversary thing like with Gold and Silver.
