Amara, a beautiful boxer mix, who just had puppies in December 2015, was shot in the head in a "location" by the owner. The owner claims that Amara was aggressive and bit his wife. There are no medical records to prove this. Amara survived the bullet wounds, despite being blinded, and was eventually taken in by Boxer Butts and Other Mutts. She is blind and had been starving. This monster that left Amara to die was seen by the Anderson County magistrate but they failed to file charges against him. This petition is to have someone look into this case again and animal cruelty laws as a whole in South Carolina.
