LEGO, Please Start Using Recycled Plastics in Your Products

LEGO, Please Start Using Recycled Plastics in Your Products
The issue
LEGO toys are widely used and bought. LEGO makes many of their toys from plastic. The environment faces pollution from plastics on a daily basis, so wouldn't it be great if we could recycle some of that plastic waste to make new plastic products we will not only buy and use, but cherish? This is why I am asking LEGO to add recycled plastics to the materials they make their products from, and to help spread the enjoyment of plastic toys without continuing the pollution of our planet and home.
♡
I would like LEGO to start using recycled plastics in their products. Here is my letter to them:
Dear LEGO,
Plastic waste is an ever-growing problem, but we can help by recycling our plastics into new plastic products.
LEGO is just as popular as ever. Some of my friends say building LEGO helps them to relax after a hard day, and they are LEGO collectors. There are a lot of LEGO sets no longer being offered that they would like to see made available again, and if LEGO made those sets from recycled plastic, it would be a win for all. The original sets would keep their value since the new sets wouldn't be exactly the same, and the world would be recycling plastic and purchasing recycled plastic products.
With that in mind, I want to ask LEGO is release a line of recycled plastic LEGO sets, with or without dyes. LEGO, please commit to using recycled plastics in your products, whether in new sets, your regular lines, or re-issues of old sets, and help us help the environment.
Sincerely,
August Quinn.
If you would like to see LEGO using recycled plastics also, please sign this petition and show your support.
Thank you.
Best,
August.
