I'm hearing from more and more people across Scotland that they are already being charged for garden recycle waste, and what started off as a modest fee has been climbing year on year.

The recycle centres are busy enough and hard enough to book a slot at as it is, not everyone owns a car, are has a car equipt to take garden waste. The fear is this additional charge will cause even more fly tipping across Scotland, putting animals lives at danger, and liter ring our beautiful country.

This charge may already apply to you, or it might not have been something you've every heard of. Regardless this petition is to put in place a legal requirement for every local authority in Scotland to collect garden recycle waste along with our normal house hold recycling, ensuring everyone living in Scotland can take pride in their garden, take pride in their home towns and look after our planet while doing so without being penalised for it.
