London schools are an incredible national and international success story.

Strong leadership, excellent teaching backed by vital investment have raised aspirations and then outcomes across the capital. This has brought opportunities to some of the poorest communities in the country.

That success story is now at risk.

Changes planned to the way government funds education will lead to less money for London schools.

We want fair funding to spread the achievements made possible in London around the country.

But not at the expense of our children.

We call on the Secretary of State, Nicky Morgan, to protect London schools and to ensure that London’s young people continue to get the opportunities they need and deserve.
