We're on track to making this dream come true! Anyway, I finally just found out news about the ratings for the 2018 Kids Choice Awards that aired 2 weeks ago! Remember last month when I said that almost all award shows, so far this year, are hitting new lows in the ratings? Well, guess what? According to this article from headlineplanet.com (click below), I'm happy to say that the ratings for this year's Kids Choice ceremony have hit a new ratings low!!! SO low in the ratings, in fact, "the Nickelodeon broadcast averaged 1.87 million overall viewers. A simulcast on TeenNick added 0.28 million in viewership, thus yielding a 2.15 million viewer mark across the two networks. Last year’s ceremony drew a combined 3.28 million viewer mark across the two networks." WOW!! Can you believe it?! But wait! There's more! The article continues: "Both ceremonies also aired concurrently on NickToons. The 2017 NickToons airing drew a 0.34 million viewer mark. A viewership figure for the 2018 NickToons broadcast was not available at press time, but it looks to have been lower than that drawn by the 2017 edition." Double WOW!! So, in conclusion, we contributed to this ratings downfall!!! I didn't expect a HUGE drop in the ratings for the KCAs!! I'm so proud of everyone who boycotted the show! YOU changed something!! Yes, YOU!!! Could this finally spell the end of the Kids Choice Awards, either on TV or, maybe, COMPLETELY?
