Equality in Bowel Cancer screening across the UK

The Issue

In England, Wales and Northern Ireland we do not offer bowel cancer screening until age 60. In Scotland this is offered at age 50. In a typical year, more than 4,000 people in the UK between 50 and 59 will be diagnosed with bowel cancer. Early diagnosis drastically improves survival. We demand equal cancer screening in the rest of the UK so that many more lives can be saved.
