Many of you have probably seen yesterday's announcement by both Chris Seeger (who apologized for race norming) and the NFL who is immediately ending the practice.  But the real victory came today, only a few hours ago (and hasn't made the news yet) that the two players who filed a civil rights violation case against the NFL (Davenport and Henry) and their attorneys NOW have a seat at the table going forward.  This means that any future agreement will have to pass through those who have the players' REAL interests at heart.

There is work still left to do  Chris Seeger is still (for now) the attorney representing the Class, but given that he allowed the civil rights of Black players to be violated, we believe he should be disqualified from continuing in this role.  We will continue THAT fight.  And those players and families hurt by race norming still have yet to be compensated for the additional pain and suffering caused by this racist policy.  We know the attorneys are working on this and will continue to provide pressure.  In addition, the NFL and Chris Seeger knowingly violated civil rights and we are presenting this petition and a request for inquiry to the Department of Justice in the coming weeks.

The heroes here are you. Each and every one of you who signed and shared this petition ACTUALLY made a difference in the lives of former players and their families.  For that, I, along with countless players and their families, are eternally grateful.
