We have seen a lot of unrest from the recent decision, BY THE PEOPLE, to elect Donald Trump as president of the United States. This decision, as a democracy works, has always been honored as the people's decision for better or for worse. 

Their is a petition now with over 3 million signatures, to urge the electoral college to "overlook their state's votes", and elect Hillary Clinton as president. Anyone who does not see this as truly disturbing, has never appreciated our right to vote, and the system therein. 

Regardless of raw emotion attached, democracy worked and the voters made their decision. People are essentially asking the Electoral College to strip the voters who won of any right to this election. Let me make this very clear, there is NOTHING okay about that. The electoral college was made to prevent exactly that, in fact. To suggest the disregard of millions of Americans rights to a fair election, simply because you feel 'afraid' and angry, is unacceptable and disgraceful to every veteran, and the concept of democracy. 

Lady Gaga has proudly spearheaded this petition, and wildly promoted it along with her challenging of the voters decision in front of Trump Tower. Having the want to disregard and mute millions of American voters, makes her completely undeserving of such a platform as the Super Bowl.
