Andrew Bolt has consistently used his position of employment with News Corp to express severe bigotry and leave no obvious room for moral growth or respective change.

He steadily perpetuates regressive thought in our society and no longer deserves to be given the opportunity to have his deplorable idea of 'journalism', nor his hateful jargon, reach any ears or eyes. 

Though, of course, Australia should wholeheartedly embrace freedom of speech (though we do not have any constitutional right to it), Bolt deserves to be subjected to the rules of tolerance workplaces should be implementing and conducting himself in a professional way, that is conducive with an unprejudiced society.  

He should not be paid to continuously spread his perversely detrimental opinions and promote deceptive ideas about our countries history (among hurtfully addressing many other sensitively prevalent and important subjects), that further prevent us from the harmonious progressions of equality that we desperately need. 

Examples of which he proves his extreme intolerance and inability to address our most apparent issues with impartiality or any kind of pragmatism are as follows:

Refusal to recognize colonial wrongdoings:

To further prove his racist disposition, the Federal Court of Australia found that Andrew Bolt had "contravened section 18 (c) of the Racial Discrimination Act in two articles published in the Herald Sun in 2009."

The woman who initiated the case, Pat Eatock, stated, "It was never about free speech, it has always been a question of professionalism, and the reality is that the original articles were not professional journalism." 

This is not the kind of public figure we need to be celebrating, nor granting any kind of air time in Australia. We need people who promote societal growth, acceptance and complete equality, people who recognize the wrongs of our ancestors and permit positive change to begin to try and heal the heinous inflictions they caused for Indigenous Australians. 

We must hold people accountable for their restrictions of such and therefore stop their uncompromising attempts at further oppression, like those of Andrew Bolt.
