Banks Mining has ruled out a legal challenge of the Secretary of State's recent decision to refuse permission for coal mining at Highthorn near Druridge Bay.

Worryingly, Banks has reaffirmed its commitment to pursuing coal mining at Dewley Hill in Newcastle, using the flawed job creation argument to bolster its position.
